Mom, I’ve been feeling very overwhelmed that I’m coming home. I was worried I’d get lazy and have nothing to do. So your list of stuff was the most comforting thing I’ve seen all week. Thanks!
This week I had the blessed opportunity to Baptized Julianna Olivarez, (she’s 8) she is a member of one of my favorite families and she asked me to baptize her. It was amazing! (and I’ve still never messed up on a baptism)
Every time, it feels like an out of body experience and I think that is because I had the opportunity to stand in place of the savior. It is amazing that He trusts us enough to let us do that.
I have had the best 2 years ever. I have gained a much greater understanding of the Atonement and what it can do for us. Gods purpose is our immortality and eternal life and when we participate in the work of salvation we are participating in Gods purpose. I love this work. And I’ll see you all in 2 years.
Just a few more thoughts:
1 Can I drive on the way home? I have a photocopy of my license that I’ve been using..
2 Can we listen to “Come Thou Fount” on the way home?
3 I’m so stoked that I didn’t have to speak at conference. But Amber did have the same topic I did haha I even half prepared a talk so far in case Stake Conference was this Sunday.
Love you all!
