Dear Family and friends,
This week has been amazing, but i didn’t get all the results i wanted. Right now i just got out of a spanish lesson and it took all our email time. (the spanish missionary couldn’t schedule it at any other time) and i am giong to get kicked out of the FHC in 10 minutes. To call the specialist and complain dial 555-1234.
We have had a good week other then that. We had a great time on the third of july at the ward dinner. We only got lost a few times on the way. but it was worth is cause then i got a free tour of a vineyard. They are beautiful this time of year. Elder Makoni and I have been having fun. I cant remember what i’ve told you about him. But he is 20, he grew up in tonga but came to west jordan when he was 15. he is the youngest of 9, he plays rugby, and football. He loves to play jokes on the other missionaries which is sweet haha. and he is also a very good teacher. He is great with kids. A lot of our investigators have kids and he does a good job of keeping them entertained while not chasing the spirit away. He is a great companion to have, i’m pretty lucky. Its been cool to keep seeing people from the last time i was here. I’ve noticed that without the gospel helping us improve some people just stay exactly the same and their life never gets better. There are people here from my last time here who havent changed one bit, except getting older. They work, watch tv, and repeat. But when we have the truth in our lives it causes us to have hope for a better world and it causes us to try to improve ourselves and attain our divine potential. So thats what i have been learning. Its kinda a big deal. So dont let satan lull you into a false sense of complacency which causes a stoppage of progression. Keep improving! Its good for ya. I’m sure there are scriptures to back me up, but i’ll let you look for them.
I hope you liked the picture sister trejo texted you, we are having fhe with them tonight.
today i found a sweet tie at goodwill. I’m calling it the irishman.
i learned a new object lesson called the bottle cap and the nails. Ask me to show you when i get home. Its sweet.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.. i cant think of many other cool stories. or things to write in such a short time. so i love you!
