Dear Family and Friends,
This week we had many fun and miraculous things happen.
Monday was normal and we saw a few people. (i feel like this is how everyday goes)
Then on Tuesday we went to clam beach and played football and rugby in the sand. It was soooo fun! We then had a good lesson with Hannah and Roger. We talked about Enduring to the End with them.
On Wednesday I had another Ingrown Toenail ripped out. And they found out that the “thing” that has been on the bottom of my foot for 5 months was a wart. And they started melting it off. So i had to soak my toe without getting the bottom of my foot wet. it was quit the feat. I am proud that i accomplished it. That day we also had an amazing experience. During our morning studies Elder Smith had the impression to go out to manila. And we decided last month that we were not going to go there again. But since the spirit was telling Elder smith to go then we should go. So we did, the first guy we talked to was a talker. The one who likes to tell us the truth. We tried to talk to him for about 30 mins but no dice. So after that i was frustrated a bit. It happens so i decided to go see a family that elder stevens and i had tracted into forever ago but had never been home. We found them home! They invited us in and we talked with them for a good 45 mins, and gave them a book of mormon. Their last name is Elder. It was a great experience. We are going to see them again tomorrow.
Thursday we got to eat dinner with our investigator Brian McDonald at our elders quorum presidents house. It was great, we ate amazing food and testified. Dinner lessons are the best. He is doing great. Keep praying for him. He did get called into work yesterday so he had to miss church. We then had a lesson with a part member couple named andrew and lori. They are a lot of fun. It was cool to hear andrew share some of his deep spiritual experiences. He has his concerns that keep him from church but he still has a strong testimony. It helps a lot to have his wife see that.
Then on friday it was my birthday. Elder Camper and Thompson( a packer fan) got me a sweet T-shirt and a bottle of the finest grape juice. So good! and my Companion made me the cake you sent me. He made me dinner that day too. and at our lesson with Irene the members taught the lesson. (thats how lazy i am) So i had a sweet birthday!
The next day we went to an investigators daughter’s birthday party she turned 2. They were trying to get me and elder smith to go down the bouncy house slide the whole time. It was so tempting. But we have to remember our calling.
The next day was sunday and we had an amazing dinner with the lady who dropped off the ties. We then met wit brian again and taught him about faith and repentance, baptism, the holy ghost and enduring to the end. (3nephi27:19-21)
So now today we are having another half P-day so we can still get some work done. We are going to gualala for an all mission camp out! Camp Liahona. Its gonna be sweet.
