This week was great! We are emailing late cause transfers are tomorrow so P-day is too. We get to email today though. I am going to Eureka! Naw, I’m staying in Fairfield. My companion is too! Elder Blowers will by my first companion for more than a transfer. He finally made it longer than I thought was possible. I don’t know how he can stand me. This week we have new planners so I completely forgot what happened last week. I did just pick up my package today. Thank you!
Anyway to more important matters, we had a great week!
We invited one of our newer investigators named Ryan to a Baptism this week. Ryan found the missionaries in Cordelia Junction and pulled his car over to talk to them. He has been living in Utah and has a lot of RM friends who have told him all about the church. So he called us and came to church last week. We taught him the restoration on Monday, and then he came to the baptism on Saturday. Right before he came he asked if it would be ok for him to bring his girlfriend. We were like “heck yes!” in more appropriate terms. So they both came and they both loved it! We invited them both to church again the next day but only Ryan came. Sarah (his GF) didn’t feel comfortable coming cause she has a hard time forgiving herself for something. So we are going to meet with both of them on Thursday and help her out so she will come. We went on splits after church with a couple of boys from the Hmong branch, Hue-ye (foo ye) and Bryan. They are so cool! They both got their Eagle Scout award last week and are super excited to get ready for their mission. We also brought Hue ye to a lesson with us to teach on of our investigators named Seffie. They know each other from high school so it was way cool. He taught her about the Pre-earth life and the spirit world. He bore his testimony about the Book of Mormon as well. He will make a great missionary. He wants to go to Brazil on his mission. We have been talking with the Hmong Branch President and we are going to start teaching a mission Prep class next week on Sundays. The sisters were doing that when they were here last year so we are going to start that up again. It’s gonna be sweet!
And today we are not doing P-day things but tomorrow we will. We’re gonna have fun at laser at, cause it’s owned by members. Well that’s all. Say hi to the ward for me.
