This week we had Zone Conference in Vacaville. It was awesome. It’s always a good time to get together with other missionaries. Vacaville is a beautiful place. It’s a bunch of Green Rolling hills. It looked way cool in the rain. It’s been raining again, all week. We spent most of the week walking cause when you bike in the rain you get soaked. And you can’t hold an umbrella. On Sunday we had a sweet experience. Well 2 of them. We got to give a couple blessings. It’s a humbling experience to give someone a blessing. It helps you feel that much more love for them.
This past couple weeks I’ve forgotten to tell you about some cool stuff. First off, I’ve had 3 different people imitate Cafe Rio from Provo and make that cool green sauce stuff that comes with it. I have also eaten cow tongue on a taco. You could see the taste buds and everything! It was a lot like beef and octopus mixed. I got that at a taco truck in a parking lot.
The work is going well, we’ve been doing our best to involve members and when we can it makes all the difference. Their testimonies and friendships are amazing. We had a St. Patrick ’s Day chili cook-off at the middle school here put on by our ward. We had a few less active families there that we’ve been working with and 5 of our investigators came! They had a good time and I ate my weight in chili and corn bread. Debbi laughs at me when we talk about food. They are the best. Don’t worry I’m not fat yet! Just so you know. I love it out here; keep the people of Woodland in your prayers. Transfers are next Monday so there may be changes with my next email. I think I’ll be staying, Elder Bacon thinks he’s going to Cresant city. We shall see. Have a good week! I love you all!
