Dear Family and Friends,
The mission address just changed. It is:
California Santa Rosa Mission
Elder Nathan Tubbs
5301 Badger Road
Santa Rosa, CA 95409
SO, for the rest of my mission send packages there. Well, transfers are today, Elder Weisenburger is going to Sebastopol. I’m staying here. I should be getting an Elder Bacon later today. I’ve talked to him once, he went to Timpview. That’s all I know…. It could get messy.. jk. He’s probably a good guy.
That’s sweet, Annie got here call! Tell her good luck, when does she leave? Say hi to Ian for me. That’s crazy Amber is in the MTC!
That’s an important subject that President Shumway talked about. There are so many less active members of the church. Go help them!
So this week was fun, I wrecked my bike hard core. We were late for an appointment with Debbie, and Larry, so we were riding about 20 mph at night. And my front headlight was really low on batteries. So I didn’t see the HUGE pile of branches and wood on the side of the road that they have everywhere here in Woodland. So all I hear is my companion say “look out!” as I saw it appear out of the mists of darkness in front of me. I had no time to do anything, I hit it going full speed, I went over my handle bars, I hit the ground with my palms and rolled onto my side so my backpack took all the road rash. I’m not hurt though. My gloves are all tore up, and I cracked the shell on my helmet. but that’s why we wear them ha-ha!
Sorry I’d write more, but I left my notes at the apartment.
We invited our investigator Mark to be baptized, and he said yes! He’s all excited about it. He’s been to church three times. We met with him on Monday and the first thing he asks is “What are the qualifications for becoming a member of your church?” We were like “uhhhhh…. Baptism!” so, we taught him and invited him to be baptized. He’s a good guy.
