Dear family, and friends,
This week has been a good one, on Monday after I emailed you all I got a haircut, and played double bounce volleyball. That is an intense workout. We also taught a couple that night who I think I’ve told you about named Debbie and Larry. They’re the ones who read out of the Ensign. They are doing well, and they came to all 3 hours of church yesterday! I love teaching them.
On Tuesday we had district and zone meetings, and exchanges. So I was in my area with Elder Burt who is serving in the Woodland 1st ward. He’s a cool dude; he played football in high school too. We had a good time. He is quiet like me so we taught really well together. We were street contacting on main street when we saw a kid’s bike get stolen. We were too late to do anything, it was crazy. I’m glad I locked mine up. On Wednesday we were tracting and Elder Weisenburger got attacked by a dog. It was a boxer like the Johnson’s have. He didn’t get bitten though so it was all good. We then ate dinner at this sweet member’s house named Bro Chris. He’s awesome he is missing his 2 front teeth. And he makes amazing spaghetti.
On Thursday my comp got food poisoning again. He laid down on the flood during comp study and we immediately got a text from the 1st ward elders asking if he felt well. Elder Burt’s comp, Elder Matthews was sick too. They ate some eggs during exchanges that were 2 months old ha-ha. So for the morning I watched church movies while Elder Weisenburger slept. He didn’t throw up as much as Elder Webber did thankfully. Then we left the 2 sick elders at their apartment so Elder Burt and I could make it to a few appointments.
On Friday I spent 44 bucks on my bike getting new brakes and things. It’s good to go now, it’s a good one. We spent about an hour at the shop though. We got to teach Debbi and Larry again which was good. And visit a few more people.
On Saturday, we rode all the way across Woodland to the Stake Center to meet a member who was feeding us dinner in that area, and to make it to a Baptism! The Elders in the other ward had a baptism. We had 3 of our investigators show up. It was a good experience for them to see it. It was the first convert baptism of my whole mission that I’ve been too. It was so cool!
On Sunday we had church, which is usually what happens. We had five investigators show up. And a guy, who swore at us last week, apologized on Tuesday and came to church on Sunday. He was funny. He knew one of the members too so hopefully we’ll be able to get him back next week.
Well it’s been a crazy week. Full of good and crazy.

P.S. So we go to the Temple once every other transfer, a transfer is every 6 weeks. The end of this transfer is Feb 12th or something like that. And we go to the closest temple. Our zone goes to Sacramento Temple, the Eureka zone goes to the Medford Oregon Temple, and the rest of the mission goes to the Oakland Temple.
